Specific Contribution Opportunities

Brave New Dances Fund:

Dr. Murray Vernon King never missed a Brave New Dances Concert at the eba Theater. His family set up the Brave New Dances Fund in honor of his lifelong commitment to the importance of creativity.

Contributions of any amount to the Brave New Dances Fund will be used solely to support the creation of new dance theatre works for Brave New Dances.

Brave New Dances annually takes place on the First two weekends in November at the eba Theater.

Kids Dance Education Scholarship Fund:

The Scholarship Fund allows children (who financially could not attend) to be able to study dance throughout the school year and attend eba's Creative Arts Summer Day Camp in July and August.

Contributions of any amount will be used exclusively to support tuition fees to allow children in to experience the beauty of dance and their own creativity.

Linda Marie Serenka Memorial Fund:

For eba students, our school receptionist, Linda Marie Serenka was the face of eba. She was the first person to say hello when they walked in the door. And she was the last to say good-bye when they departed after class.

We were all saddened to say good-bye to Linda Marie when she passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010. The Reception Room always had a warm feel when Linda Marie was in the building. In her own impeccable manner, she took care of everyone and everything.

To honor her memory, eba dedicated our Reception Room/Art Gallery to Linda Marie Serenka at a gathering of Linda Marie’s family, friends and neighbors

Contributions to the Linda Marie Serenka Memorial Fund will help ensure that Linda Marie’s passion and commitment will be remembered by eba patrons for years to come.
